The Schaap companies have always offered storage services, and in 1985, in response to requests from customers, we began to offer storage of confidential records on shelves. In 1990, bar coding technology was added to track individual boxes and files, and Schaap Records Management was born.
Today, companies and professional practices throughout the Capital District of New York store tens of thousands of boxes containing millions of files at our records center. One phone call, email, or fax is all it takes for clients to have their records retrieved and delivered.
But the services extend far beyond just storage and retrieval. Schaap Records Management offers file storage cartons; packing services for clients who may not have the time or manpower to box their records; detail indexing of files in every carton; and access and delivery any time of the day or night. We can also provide access to your inventory via the Internet, hard copy printouts, or your inventory on CD.
New Green Services being offered:
- Scanning Services to reduce paper usage in your office
- Certified Hard Drive Destruction
- Computer Recycling
Since protection and security of confidential documents is our greatest concern, our limited-access, fireproof building is fully sprinklered. Intrusion alarms and closed-circuit television monitoring insure that records are never accessed by unauthorized individuals.
Because Schaap Records Management is related to Schaap Moving Systems, access to the right equipment is never a problem. Whether you need to move 100 boxes of records or 10,000, we can accommodate your needs.
